It’s been barely a week since Pakistani influencer Dananeer Mobeen became a viral sensation on social media.
After music producer Yashraj Mukhate released a fun mashup video featuring Mobeen’s line “Ye humari car hai, Ye hum hai aur ye humari pawri hori hai“, the video went massively viral on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
The influencer’s pawri ho rahi hain’ line became so viral, early everyone on social media came up with their own version of the meme, being as witty as possible. Not just regular users, even Indian brands joined the ‘pawri ho rahi hai‘ trend and converted the video into memes of their own.
But the thing about social media is that it doesn’t take time for a new meme to dislodge a popular one. And if it involves some gossipy details, it is certain to go massively viral.
In the past year, we have witnessed many goof-ups and blunders on video calls. Some were so disastrous, their videos couldn’t be shared with the public.
Joining that list of major video call goof-ups is a girl named ‘Shweta’, who inadvertently shared a bit too much information after she forgot to mute her mic during a conference call with 111 people.
How did the ‘Shweta’ meme fest start?
A participant on a college video conference call by the name of Shweta divulged some personal information on a phone call without realising the microphone was not muted on the video-calling application.
As Shweta continued her gossipy conversation on the phone, other participants kept telling her to mute the microphone.
The video of the call, which has now been shared on social media, goes on for well over 2 minutes.
Shweta shared some private details about a boy, who had asked her to keep everything secret. As she went talking on the phone, fellow students on the call tried to tell her again and again that her mic was on. But all the effort was in vain.
A listener is heard saying ‘ab ye 111 logo ko pata chal gaya hai (Now, 111 people have heard of it)’ towards the end of the video.
Here are some of the best memes:
