The phone’s powered by a 4,500mAh battery and packs a 15W charger in the box. The Galaxy A72 meanwhile sports a larger 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate. This is paired with a 5,000mAh battery.

The Samsung Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72 are now available in India. Both phones pack 64MP main cameras, an IP67 rating, and 90Hz displays. Pricing starts at Rs 26,499 for the Galaxy A52.

As for processing power, the Snapdragon 720G is present in both phones while each device also packs IP67 water and dust resistance ratings.

Both phones feature 64MP primary snappers joined by a 12MP ultrawide and 5MP macro lens. However, the Galaxy A52 uses a 5MP bokeh sensor in its fourth camera slot, while the A72 employs an 8MP telephoto shooter. The duo both use 32MP selfie shooters up front.

But how much does each cost in India? The Samsung Galaxy A52 will be available in two storage guises. The 6GB RAM/128GB storage version retails for Rs 26,499 (~$364) on the Samsung India store. The 8GB/128GB version comes in at Rs 27,999 (~$385). That’s a noticeable price bump over the Galaxy A51 which launched at Rs 23,999 (~$330). Samsung’s pricing also puts it in a direct fight with the Galaxy M51.

The Galaxy A72 aims a little higher. Its pricing starts at Rs 34,999 (~$481) for the 8GB/128GB version and jump to Rs 37,999 (~$522) for the 8GB/256GB option. Samsung’s seemingly issuing a challenge to the Xiaomi Mi 10T series. Both versions are available on the Samsung India store.
